Having virtually wiped “Isildur1″ nosebleeds tables on Full Tilt Poker a few weeks ago, Brian Hastings has granted few interviews on winning the $ 4 million which is a new record in a single game session. In one such interview, he said something that should not have said and this has caused some controversy and certainly a suspension of a Red Pro
Hastings told ESPN that he and the others CardRunners (Brian Townsend and Cole South) Shared the hand histories of their games against Isildur1 to understand his style of play. According to the terms and conditions of Full Tilt Poker, this is not allowed.
Of course, Full Tilt has completed his investigations and when the status of Brian Townsend as Red Pro has been suspended for a month. He reported on his blog that there was no collusion and that he is solely responsible for the violation of the terms having gained 30k hands game Isildur1.
TonyG has posted some comments on TonyGPoker.com. According to him this whole situation leaves a “bad smell in the air for everyone, including Full Tilt since Townsend is one of their Red Next” Thinks that Townsend should “pay more attention to what it means to be a Full Tilt Red Pro.”
The involvement of Cole South, was found not to violate any rules after the investigation of Full Tilt. He confirmed that the three discussed their hands but they never shared their hand histories or other and there is no database “conglomerate” of hand histories against Isildur1. He, like Townsend, he assured that none of them played with the account of others.
From what we read on the blog of Tony G, he believes that South is completely innocent, Townsend still leaves doubts and Hastings should give his version of events. Regarding Isildur1 said, “The bad thing is that it seems there is no response that could help Isildur1. A Red Pro receives a penalty does not change its losses and the fact that he played with a handicap. I think it could refer because he is young and has talent. This must be a situation from which to learn a lot. ”
